Sculptra®

Collagen-Stimulating Facial Rejuvenation

in Las Vegas

Not a Filler. A Rebuilder. Results That Last for Years.

Sculptra® doesn’t fill your face — it rebuilds it. By stimulating your body’s own collagen production, Sculptra restores the structural foundation that volume loss erodes over time. The results develop gradually, look completely natural, and last significantly longer than traditional dermal fillers.

Most facial aging isn’t about a line here or a fold there. It’s about the slow collapse of structure — the bone, fat, and collagen scaffolding that kept your face full and supported. Traditional fillers replace the appearance of volume. Sculptra® restores the foundation itself.

Thomas Pulice, PA-C has performed Sculptra® treatments extensively at Las Vegas Aesthetics, with before/after results that speak for themselves. If you’re a candidate, this may be the most cost-effective injectable treatment you can choose — results that build for months and hold for years.

Sculptra collagen stimulator treatment Las Vegas — natural facial rejuvenation and volume restoration at Las Vegas Aesthetics by Thomas Pulice PA-C

Sculptra® Aesthetic is an FDA-approved injectable made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) — a biocompatible, biodegradable polymer that has been used safely in medical sutures and implants for decades. When injected into the deep dermis, PLLA microspheres act as a collagen stimulus: your body treats them as a signal to produce new collagen around them. As the PLLA gradually absorbs, the new collagen remains — rebuilding volume, improving skin thickness, and restoring facial structure from within.

This is fundamentally different from hyaluronic acid fillers, which occupy space immediately and dissolve over time. Sculptra® leaves nothing behind except your own biology — which is exactly why the results look so natural, and why they last so much longer.

What to Expect — The Treatment Series

• Free consultation — Thomas assesses your facial anatomy, degree of volume loss, and goals to determine the number of vials and sessions needed.
• Topical numbing cream applied before treatment. Treatment takes approximately 30–45 minutes per session.
• Most patients require 2 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Then an optional third session at month 4 for optimal results.
• Post-treatment: follow the 5-5-5 massage protocol — massage the treated area for 5 minutes, 5 times per day, for 5 days to ensure even product distribution.
• Results begin developing 2-3 weeks after first session; continue building over 3–6 months.
• Minimal downtime. Mild swelling or bruising at injection sites resolves within a few days.
• Results typically last up to 2 years or more — significantly longer than HA fillers.

Treatment Areas

• Cheeks — restoring mid-face volume and lift lost to aging or weight loss
• Temples — addressing upper-face hollowing that creates a “skeletonized” appearance
• Nasolabial folds — softening smile lines through structural support rather than surface filling
• Marionette lines — reducing downward pull at mouth corners
• Jawline — restoring definition and reducing jowl formation
• Chin — improving projection and contour
• Overall facial volume — broad rejuvenation across multiple zones in a single treatment series

The Patient Who Chooses Sculptra®
Sculptra® tends to attract a specific type of patient — one who thinks longer-term, understands the value of building rather than patching, and wants results that don’t require constant maintenance. They’ve often already tried HA fillers and liked the concept, but want something
that holds longer and works with their biology rather than around it.

It’s also a compelling option for patients who’ve experienced significant volume loss — from aging, weight fluctuation, or facial thinning — where a series of Sculptra® treatments can produce a more comprehensive structural restoration than spot-filling with traditional filler.

What Results Can You Expect, and When?
Most men notice the first signs of improvement within two to four weeks. The most significant gains typically emerge between weeks six and twelve. For many patients, results continue improving for several months.

Sculptra® has a steeper learning curve than HA fillers. Placement is deeper, the injection technique is different, and patient selection — knowing who is and isn’t a good candidate, and how many vials a face actually needs — requires genuine experience.

Thomas has performed Sculptra® extensively since U.S. FDA approval on July, 2009. His before/after results reflect not just technical competence but aesthetic judgment: knowing when to treat, how much, and where.

His background in cardiothoracic surgery from 1998 — over 5,000 procedures — gives him an anatomical framework that informs everything he does with injectables. He understands facial structure not as a surface map, but as a three-dimensional architecture of bone, fat compartments, and soft tissue — the same framework Sculptra® operates within.

Every consultation, treatment, and follow-up is performed personally by Thomas. No technicians, no delegation. If your protocol needs adjustment between sessions, he makes the call — because he’s the one who’s been watching your results develop.

Below are the most common questions clients ask before their Sculptra® Treatment appointment. Every treatment is customized for natural, comfortable results, so you always know what to expect.

What is Sculptra® and how is it different from Juvederm® or Restylane®?
Sculptra® is a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) collagen stimulator — not a traditional hyaluronic acid filler. Juvederm® and Restylane® replace volume directly and show immediate results lasting 6–18 months. Sculptra® works by triggering your body’s own collagen production, producing gradual results that develop over 3–6 months and can last up to 2 years or more. It addresses the structural cause of volume loss rather than temporarily filling above it.

Is Sculptra® a natural treatment?
Sculptra® uses a material (poly-L-lactic acid) — not organic like EZ Gel or PRP. However, it works with your body’s natural biology: the PLLA acts as a stimulus for your own collagen production, and as it absorbs over time, it leaves behind only your own newly produced collagen. Many patients appreciate this mechanism as fundamentally different from ongoing volume maintenance.

How many Sculptra® sessions will I need?
Most patients require 2 sessions 6 weeks apart, then a 3rd sessions 4 months after. The exact number depends on the degree of volume loss, your anatomy, and aesthetic goals. Thomas will give you a specific protocol — including number of vials per session and total sessions recommended — at your free consultation.

When will I see results from Sculptra®?
Results develop gradually. Most patients begin noticing improvement 4 weeks after their first session, with full results continuing to build over 3–6 months following the treatment series. This gradual progression is actually an advantage — the changes look natural because they develop slowly, the same way your face aged, just in reverse.

How long does Sculptra® last?
Results typically last up to 2 years or more — considerably longer than most HA fillers. Because Sculptra® works by rebuilding your own collagen infrastructure, results tend to age naturally with your face. Periodic maintenance sessions can extend and refresh outcomes when needed.

Is Sculptra® better than traditional filler?
It depends on your goals. Traditional HA fillers produce immediate results and are reversible — ideal for lips, under-eyes, and precise structural areas. Sculptra® is better suited for patients who want longer-lasting, gradual volume restoration across larger facial areas where rebuilding structure is the goal. Also Sculptra® is used for skin tightening and gives off what is known as a “sculptra glow” Many patients use both: Sculptra® for foundational volume, HA fillers for fine- tuning. Thomas will recommend the right approach at your free consultation.

Is there downtime after Sculptra®?
Minimal. Mild swelling, bruising, or redness at injection sites may occur and typically resolves within a few days. Patients are instructed to follow the 5-5-5 massage protocol: massage the treated area for 5 minutes, 5 times per day, for 5 days after treatment. This helps ensure even
distribution of the product and reduces the risk of nodule formation.

Is Sculptra® safe? Are there side effects?
Yes — Sculptra® Aesthetic has been FDA-approved since 2009. Poly-L-lactic acid is biocompatible and biodegradable — it’s been used safely in medical sutures and implants for decades. Side effects are typically mild: temporary swelling, bruising, or redness. Rare complications (nodule formation) are significantly minimized with proper deep-tissue injection technique and the post-treatment massage protocol. Thomas’ experience with this product reduces this risk substantially.

How much does Sculptra® cost in Las Vegas?
Sculptra® is priced per vial, and the number of vials per session depends on your anatomy and degree of volume loss. Most patients require multiple vials per session across 2–3 sessions. The rule of thumb being “a vial per decade,” e.g. a 50-year-old needs five vials. While the upfront investment is higher than a single syringe of HA filler, many patients find Sculptra® more cost-effective over 2+ years compared to repeat filler maintenance.
