Restore Volume. Enhance Your Features. Look Like Yourself — Just Refreshed.

As we age, our faces naturally lose volume — cheeks flatten, lips thin, and lines deepen around the mouth and eyes. Restylane® and Juvederm® restore what time gradually takes away, using hyaluronic acid — a substance your skin already produces — to add natural-looking fullness exactly where it’s needed.

At Las Vegas Aesthetics, Thomas Pulice, PA-C, a Presidential level injector – Top 1% in the country – selects the right product for the right area and applies it with the precision of someone who has spent 25+ years studying facial anatomy. The result isn’t a “filled” look. It’s the version of your face that’s well-rested, balanced, and proportionate.

Restylane® and Juvederm® are both FDA-approved hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring compound in your skin that attracts and binds moisture, adding volume and supporting the structural scaffolding beneath the surface.

As HA levels decline with age — along with collagen — the result is hollowing, sagging, and deepening lines. These fillers replenish that volume directly.

The two brands have different gel formulations — Juvederm® tends toward a softer, more fluid consistency well-suited to cheeks and fine lines; Restylane® is smoother and yet firmer and more cohesive, perfect for lips and often preferred for structural areas like cheeks and under-eyes.

Tom selects the specific product based on your anatomy and the area being treated. Patients don’t need to arrive with a product preference — that’s what the consultation is for.

What to Expect at Your Appointment

• Free consultation — Tom assesses your facial anatomy, volume loss, and goals before recommending any product or area.
• Topical numbing or dental nerve block for lip treatments — can reduce discomfort to near zero.
• Treatment takes 15–60 minutes depending on areas treated.
• Results are immediate — visible the same day. Minor swelling resolves in 3–5 days.

Restylane® vs. Juvederm® — Which Is Right for You?
Both brands are excellent — and both are offered at Las Vegas Aesthetics. The distinction matters at the product level, not the brand level.. Restylane® Defyne, Restylane® Contour, Juvederm® Voluma and Restylane® Lyft are workhorses for cheek volume and lift. Restylane® Refyne and Defyne handle deeper facial folds with natural flexibility. Restylane® Classic & Eyelight addresses the delicate tear trough area. Restylane® Defyne and Juvederm® Volbella and Ultra are commonly used for lips and Restylane® Silk for perioral lines. Tom recommends the specific product based on what will produce the best outcome for your anatomy — not brand loyalty.

Combination with Neurotoxins
Dermal fillers and neurotoxins (Dysport® or Botox®) are frequently combined in a single appointment. Neurotoxins relax muscles causing dynamic wrinkles; fillers restore volume loss and structural support. Used together, they address the full spectrum of facial aging more effectively than either treatment alone.

Vampire Facelift® Connection
Restylane® and Juvederm® are also used in our Vampire Facelift® protocol — a combination of structural filler placement and PRP (platelet-rich plasma) injections that restores both volume and skin quality simultaneously. Ask about this upgrade during your consultation.

Filler outcomes are entirely technique-dependent. The same syringe of product produces dramatically different results depending on who places it, where, at what depth, and in what volume.

Overfilled faces and unnatural results almost always come from a provider who applied a standard amount to a standard location without accounting for the individual patient’s anatomy.

As a Presidential level injector – Top 1% in the country, Tom’s approach is different. His background in cardiothoracic surgery since 1998 gave him an anatomical foundation that most aesthetic injectors never develop. He treats each face as a three-dimensional structure —
assessing bone, fat pad distribution, and skin quality before determining placement. Every treatment is built around proportion and facial harmony, not a filler map.

Nothing is delegated. Tom performs every consultation, every injection, and every follow-up personally. His goal — and his standard — is always the same: you, refreshed. Not you, altered.

Below are the most common questions clients ask before their Restylane® / Juvederm® Treatment appointment. Every treatment is customized for natural, comfortable results, so you always know what to expect.

What is the difference between Restylane® and Juvederm®?
Both are FDA-approved hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, but with different gel formulations suited to different areas. Juvederm® products tend to be smoother and more fluid — often preferred for lips and fine lines. Restylane® products are firmer and more cohesive — often preferred for
cheeks, under-eyes, and structural areas. Tom selects the specific product based on your anatomy and goals. You don’t need to arrive with a preference — that’s what the free consultation is for.

What areas can dermal fillers treat?
Restylane® and Juvederm® treat lips (volume and definition), cheeks (lift and structure), nasolabial folds (smile lines), marionette lines, under-eye hollows (tear troughs), temples, chin, jawline, and hands. They are also used in the Vampire Facelift® protocol at Las Vegas Aesthetics, combined with PRP for improved skin quality alongside volume restoration.

How long do dermal fillers last?
Results vary by product and treatment area — typically 6 to 24 months. Lip filler metabolizes faster (6–12 months). Cheek and structural filler lasts longer (12–24 months). Consistent maintenance treatments extend results over time as the area holds volume more effectively.

Do filler injections hurt?
Most patients experience only mild discomfort. Many Restylane® and Juvederm® formulas already contain lidocaine. Tom applies topical numbing cream before treatment, and a dental nerve block is available for lip treatments — which can reduce discomfort to near zero for most
patients.

Is there downtime after filler?
Minimal. Some patients experience mild swelling or bruising for 3–5 days, particularly with lip treatments. Results are immediately visible and improve as swelling resolves. Most patients return to normal activities the same day.

Can filler be reversed if I don’t like the results?
Yes. All hyaluronic acid fillers — including every Restylane® and Juvederm® product — can be partially or fully dissolved using hyaluronidase. This is one of the most important safety advantages of HA-based fillers over permanent or semi-permanent alternatives. Tom discusses this at every consultation.

Can I combine fillers with Botox® or Dysport® in the same visit?
Yes — and it’s common. Neurotoxins address dynamic wrinkles caused by muscle movement; fillers restore volume loss and structural support. Used together in a single appointment, they address the full spectrum of facial aging more completely than either treatment alone. Tom will
recommend a combined approach if it serves your goals.
